Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. Her grandmother lived in the slums until she was three years old, when she was adopted. Her adoptive family is made up of one Filipino adoptive mom and white American army veteran. She has claimed that she and the brother were neglected by their adoptive family members from her childhood until she joined the military. The family lived with her aunt living in San Francisco for several months before moving back to Texas to celebrate her 13th birthday because of the requirement for her father to undergo bypass surgery. Though the physical violence stopped but she says that she endured emotional abuse from her father in the home. She enlisted in the United States Navy when she reached the age of 18. Poarch began with her TikTok account around April of 2020 and quickly became a household name with more than 40 million fans in less than eight months. Her videos were uploaded in a variety of formats, however the most popular was the video she made for Millie B's hit song Soph Aspin Send. This zoomed video, which featured her lip-syncing to the music in a rhythmic time with it went to the top of the charts.
