Emily VanCamp

Emily VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her collaboration alongside the producer Greg Berlanti. Emily VanCamp first came to prominence for her work with director Greg Berlanti, who cast her as a regular on The WB drama Everwood (2002-2006) as well as the ABC series Brothers & Sisters (2007-2010). VanCamp gained further recognition by portraying the lead role of Emily Thorne on the ABC series Revenge between 2011 and 2015. VanCamp played the lead role in the Fox health drama The Resident between 2018 and 2021. Also, VanCamp plays Sharon Carter/ Agent 13or Power Broker in The Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is the case with Marvel's films Captain America The Winter Soldier and Captain America Civil War as along with those Disney+ shows The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and the what If ...? that will air in 2021. It was in the year 1998 that VanCamp became interested in acting after she met her sister Katie at the filming location of the movie Ladies Room. VanCamp began taking classes in acting in the afternoons on Saturdays. She also found an agent and, after having worked on commercials, was hired to play the second episode of a special three-part episode in the Canadian children's horror television series Are You Afraid of the Dark? named "The Silver Sight", in which she was paired with a 17-year old Elisha Cuthbert.
