Jill Hennessy

Her mixed heritage includes Irish italians, Swedish, Italians, French, Ukrainians and Irish. Jacqueline is her twin sister and also an actor. As a child, Jill became fluent in different languages such as Italian, French and Spanish. Jill began to become interested in the world of acting when she was 12. Her career as an actor began in Toronto when she played an actor in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her sister. After that, she was studying improv in Second City under Deb Kimmet. A few years later, she relocated to New York and signed a deal to play Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the long run of the hit show, Law & Order. In the time she lived in New York working on feature films including RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1996) and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Through the following years, she landed roles in several forgettable films. But in 1999, she landed a starring position in the miniseries uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York, Exit Wounds and other major productions were to follow. In 2001 she was cast in the lead role in the crime-themed NBC series Crossing Jordan and in 2007, she won a Gracie Allen award as "Outstanding Female Leading in the Drama Series" in recognition of her performance in the series. She was married to another actor Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two children together. She was honored in 2007 with the honor of being at the Canadian Walk of Fame. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
